BFMS Cross Country Recap vs. TJMS

What a beautiful night for a cross country meet! The first of three encounters with TJ ended up advantage BF. Our 8th grade boys, led by Mike Deedrich's 11:36 winning time paced the team's 22 to 33 win over TJ. Alex Horb’s second place finish was followed by Dan DeTorrice, Camden Davison and Patrick Treacy .Not to be outdone, the 8th grade girls ran a strong 23 to 31 finish led by Allison Mundell's blistering winning time of 12:33. Katie Thorn and Karlie Thorn held down fourth and fifth followed by Taylor Kovats and Kelly Bigger.

The 7th boys held on to defeat TJ 27 to 30. Dan Dalton led the pack with his 8:42 second place time. Packing hard to seal the win were Ben Hardwick, John Buggeln, Chris Hendon, and Jacob Devine. The 21 to 34 win by the 7th grade girls made it four as Ellie Joll led the team with a 9:12 winning time. Excellent runs were turned in by Lexi Ferngren, Sydnye Noshbusch, Sara Kupsis and Kareen Billetter.

The 6th grade boys dominated the field with their 19 to 42 win over TJ. Mike Lichtenberger led the charge once again with a winning time of 8:53. The rest of the pack was comprised of Zack Moneta, Theran Coulopoulos, Greg Lichtenberger and Connor Wolf. And finally, our 6th grade girls won their heat 22 to 38. Emily Mittenberger’s winning time of 10:12 led the field followed by Allison Nagy, Allie DeTorrice, Carrollynn Sharp, and Abby Arnold. Congratulations to all on a fine night of running. The team will return to TJ on Thursday for the annual Viking Invite.
