The 8th grade football team improved to 4-0 with a 32-14 thrashing of Crown Point Wheeler. The offense heroes were many starting with the offensive line that did a great job all game. Collin Vinyard rushed for 34 yards, scoring once and adding 2 conversions. Dustin Barnett ran for 77 yards, scoring one touchdown.
Charles Nagy scored twice, the first on an 82 yard pass play from JP Kunze. The second score came on a 54 yard reverse that included a great cutback eluding the entire visiting team. Bryce Bartolomeo scored the last touchdown with a great 20 yard run. Drew Paul added the conversion with a catch in the end zone. Drake Baron ended 2 Bulldog drives with interceptions and Michael Bezotte picked off another pass.
Leading tackles were Sean Curtis with 11, Drew Paul with 7, Tyler Ellrich and Jared Rafferty with 4 each, and a host of Vikings with 3 tackles a piece. The B team will host Wheeler on Thursday at 4:30. Congratulations
