The Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County Valparaiso Unit, located at 354 Jefferson St., will soon be having registration for their Winter Instructional Indoor Soccer program. The soccer program, emphasizing fun and instruction, is for boys and girls ages 5-12, who are in grades K-8.
The registration dates and times will be limited to the following (or until leagues fill, whichever is first):
All players must be members of the Club, which is only $25 per child for a full year's membership. The fees for the basketball program are:
Registration is available at www.bgcpoco.org all day from November 28th – December 9th.
Registration at the Club can be done on:
Tuesdays from 3-7 P.M. (Nov 29 & Dec 6)
Wednesdays from 10 AM – 2 P.M. (Nov 30 & Dec 7)
Fridays from 4-8 P.M. (Dec 2 & 9)
There are a limited number of spots, please register early. Online Registration may be closed at any time.
To avoid possible lengthy wait times, please sign up online or at the Club on one of the earlier days.
- 5-7 year old division (Friday night practices and games): $20 *5 year olds do need to be in Kindergarten
- 8/9 old divisions (One practice per week and a Saturday games): $25
- 10-12 year old division (One practice per week and Thursday night games): $35
The Valparaiso Unit is accepting league registrations at the Club and online during the above sign up dates and times. We encourage parents to register or renew their child(ren)’s membership(s) before coming in to the Club to sign up their child(ren) on our website at www.bgcpoco.org. After enrolling their child as a member, parents can register their child for the basketball league online or at the Club. Financial assistance is available for membership and league fees for those who qualify. Parents wishing to receive financial assistance must register at the Club.
There are a limited number of available spots in each division. The 5-7 & 8/9 age groups have separate divisions for boys and girls as long as enough girls sign up. The 10-12 age group is co-ed. Practices will start the week of January 9th with first games played the week of January 10th. For more information concerning the indoor soccer program, please call Tim at 462-2182 x233.
