Indiana USAG hosted gymnastics state meets for levels 3-10 during the months of March and April with Regional & National competitions concluding in May of this year. Local gym, Indiana Elite Gymnastics & Cheer, is proud to introduce 19 of their gymnasts who placed in the top 3 of either an individual event and/or the all-around for their levels.
The gym has produced many state, regional, and national champions through the years. Three of these gymnasts were awarded the honor of All-Around Champion for the state of Indiana. Alexis Avey - level 6 state champion, Marina Rau - level 3 state champion, and Olivia Costa – level 3 state champion. Avey scored a 9.45 on vault, 9.275 on bars, 9.15 on beam, 9.25 on floor and a 37.125 for all-around. Rau scored a 9.675 on vault, 9.425 on bars, 9.55 on beam, 9.7 on floor and 38.35 for all-around. Costa scored a 9.775 on vault, 9.725 on bars, 9.775 on beam, 9.75 on floor and an amazing 39.025 for all-around. This all-around score was the highest in the state of Indiana this year for any age group in any level.
