Valpo Parks Department and Triple Crown are offering a first – a chance to work with Olympic softball players in a half-day clinic. Women’s Fast-pitch Softball Team Olympians Michelle Venturella & Leslie Malerich will teach a skills clinic on January 11, 2015 at the Valparaiso High School Field House from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Players will be grouped by ages and high school players will be grouped in accordance with IHSAA rules. The clinic, run by Venturella and Malerich, willl focus on hitting, catching, and pitching skills.
The session is for girls 8 and older and they must be preregistered through the Valpo Parks by January 8. Coaches are also welcome to take part in this one-of-a-kind clinic, as well, and should also be preregistered.
