Men’s, Women’s, Coed Softball Leagues
Rosters and team fees are due by March 31 for the summer leagues played at Fairgrounds Park in Valpo. Team fee is $590 plus $12 for each non-resident on roster. If the majority of players on roster are non-resident (more than 6), team fee is $685 total (no extra $12 fee per non-resident required.) A double elimination tourney is included in the 14 to 16 game seasons. Rosters are available to be printed from the website or by calling Valpo Parks. Completed rosters with team fee are collected in person or by phone Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM at Valpo Parks office.

Pre-Season Adult Softball Tourney
Registered summer league softball teams can warm up with a pre-season softball tourney. The Spring Swing tourney will be April 26-27 at Fairgrounds Park. Teams will play at least three games. Bracket winners will receive a team credit toward their regular season team, or team uniform shirts. Fee is $100 payable by March 26.

Adult Coed Soccer League
Offered by Valpo Parks with games played at Fairgrounds Park soccer field, the season includes 12 games and a double elimination tourney. Only two divisions are offered; sign up now to reserve your spot. Completed rosters with entire team fee or $100 deposit will be accepted at the Parks Office on a first-come first serve basis. Coed Teams are required to have a minimum of three women on their roster. All players must be 18 years and older and no longer participating in high school athletics. Price for a resident team is $750, plus $12 for each non-resident. A non-resident team (roster has 6 or more non-resident players) is $850 total. Rosters due by April 22. All team fees must be paid prior to first game. Individual players can register for $75/$87 and will be placed on a team if available.

Ultimate Frisbee League
The first session of Ultimate starts April 13 and rosters are due by March 26. The session is an eight game round robin schedule and runs through May 28. Two divisions will be offered; high school and adult. High school players are required to show student ID when registering. Team fee is $150 with a maximum of 10 players per team; additional $12 fee for each non-resident player. Mandatory Captains Meeting is April 2. All games played at Fairgrounds Park.

Fitness in the Park with Trainer
Valpo Parks is teaming up with Faithful Road Fitness. Led by a professionally certified personal trainer, classes are Boot Camp style – great for weight loss and fat burning. Through the use of various natural obstacles, everyday items, and equipment, you’ll be able to get fit. Class sessions will start and end with a fit test so improvement can be measured. Open to all fitness levels. Students will receive instructions and information to help continue their work outside of class. Classes are at Fairgrounds Park, rain or shine. Two sessions are offered with two class times to meet your needs. Class A meets Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 8:00 AM; Class B meets Tuesday, Thursday, Friday at 5:30 AM. Session 1 is June 8 – July 17, while Session 2 runs July 20 – Aug 28. Price per session is $95 per person which includes one free season pass to Rogers-Lakewood Park, a $35+ value. Also, they receive a $5 discount on Popcorn Panic registration; must register for both at the same time to receive discount.

Family Fitness with Trainer
Family fitness program brings together an adult family member and youth to motivate each other for physical fitness activity. Led by certified fitness trainer Michelle Corrigan, class meets Tuesdays and Thursday at 5:15 PM, rain or shine, at Fairgrounds Park from June 16 – July 23. Registration includes two individuals from a household – parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or older sibling with a youth 7 to 14 years of age. There is also instruction and information to help continue fitness work outside of class. Price $125 per pair, which includes one free season pass to Rogers-Lakewood Park, a $35+ value. Also, they receive a $5 discount on Popcorn Panic registration; must register for both at the same time to receive discount.

Lacrosse League for Age 12 to Adult
Lacrosse with the Valpo Parks is open to anyone Ages 12 & Up, for players familiar with the game. If player does not have own equipment, it may be borrowed or rented. The season is June 7 - August 16 with games on Tuesdays and Sundays at 6 PM. Register by May 28. Price $60 for residents and $72 for non-residents.
