The way he used his time while earning a degree showcased a drive, commitment, and heart, that was as big as is dreams.

Josephine Purevich attended 24 1st birthdays for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She saw the first person walk on the moon, watched as the Berlin wall came down, and grew up during The Great Depression. She loved crocheting, playing Candyland with her great grandson, and chatting with the ladies at the senior center on Wednesday afternoons. Josephine was born on July 27, 1929 and was raised in Gary, IN, in the Tolleston and Glen Park area until 1976 when she moved to Hebron.

Before joining the Kotys Wealth Professional’s team earlier this year, Mark Rosinski spent five years working in various corporate finance and accounting roles, four of those years with NiSource in Merrillville. After earning his Certified Public Accountant license, he decided to lean into his passion of personal finance and to work in a more direct client-service role. “During nights and weekends after my day job, I worked at H&R Block preparing tax returns,” Rosinski said. “After the experience at H&R Block and speaking with over a dozen financial advisors located across the country, I decided to go all-in on that passion by pursuing a role as a financial advisor.”
Back in 1964, Pete Peuquet had worked for Orville Redenbacher and Charlie Bowman while simultaneously going through college and pursuing a degree in economics and finance. Peuquet had worked with Chester, Inc., as a client with a previous job, and eventually was offered a position with Chester full-time. Today, he’s the CEO, and he has paved his career path by staying true to his mentor teachings and becoming a mentor himself. After 45 years of service at Chester, Inc., Peuquet has never lost sight of his roots.
