Oak Partners Welcomes New Advisor, Adam Sipes

Adam K. Sipes graduated from Purdue University with a BS degree in Selling and Sales Management and a minor in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. He decided immediately after graduation to follow his passion for helping others and finance by joining Oak Partners Inc. as a member of the Asset Management Group.

Adam was born in Bloomington Indiana, but moved to Valparaiso at a young age, quickly growing a love for the area. He attended Valparaiso High School and is extremely proud of being able to call himself a Viking. Creating strong ties to the community is something Adam looks forward to in the near future.

Adam became a Financial Advisor of SII Investments, Inc. in July 2016, holding the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and the Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law Exam) registrations. Upon achieving these registrations Adam hopes to be able to bring financial help to the Northwestern Indiana community. One of his favorite phrases is “Money can’t buy happiness, but it sure can buy greater peace of mind,” something that we all strive for.

Now that Sipes has passed these exams he’s excited to be a part of the team and learn from the valuable resources that surround him at Oak Partners. “I’m going to be working on The Asset Management team and we’ll be working to try and help as many people in the Valpo area as we can,” said Sipes. “The atmosphere at Oak Partners is that, yes, we’re on teams and we’re competitive with each other, but we’re also extremely helpful and encouraging with one another.”

Sipes will be spending the next year or two at Oak Partners’ main office in Crown Point learning as much as possible before working his way, along with his partner, Brent Hill, into the Valparaiso area.

“Our goal is, as a team, to spend time in Crown Point soaking up as much knowledge as we can from the veteran advisors and then we plan on moving ourselves to the Valpo office,” said Sipes. “Working in the office in Crown Point, there’s so much knowledge that we can pick up from those advisors who are extremely good at what they do. We want to feel really experienced before we step in and handle people's assets and finances.”

Adam Sipes is the 17th Financial Advisor to join the Oak Partners Family. The firm manages over 650 million dollars and currently has offices in Valparaiso, Crown Point, Lafayette, Auburn and Cincinnati, OH. Their Valparaiso location recently moved to 200 East Lincolnway.
