The Valpo Schools Foundation has a unique purpose. We change the lives of children in Valparaiso Schools by funding innovative educational programs, which provide extraordinary learning experiences. Classroom grants are awarded every year for creative and inventive programs. The Valpo Schools Foundation also annually awards scholarships to VHS seniors for continuation of their education at post-secondary institutions. To further engage students in a great learning experience, as well as encourage the practice of a lifelong education, we’ve added “Kids on Campus” to our menu of free opportunities . This year, Ivy Tech Community College of Valparaiso and University of Notre Dame became educational destinations for 500 Valpo 8th grade students. To engage the community, we also invite families to our annual Harlem Wizards night each Spring. This event provides an exciting experience of professional hoopsters teaming up against our very own VCS educators, administrators, and staff.

Overall, students, educators, and parents appreciate the opportunities VSF provides.

We awarded $32,650.00 in student scholarships last year and $15,259.00 in grant money to VCS educators!
