April is 2015 Occupational Therapy Month, OE Looks to Hire OTs

oe logoAll About Kids (AAK), a division of Opportunity Enterprises, has been providing early intervention services for children for more than 20 years. OE’s Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapists (COTAs), are dedicated to providing a family-focused service for infants and toddlers from birth to three years who are at risk for a disability or who have a developmental or physical delay or disability.

Occupational therapy works to refine motor skills, adaptive skills and sensory motor development, and teaches families the importance of sensory processing for a child.

Through Indiana’s Early Intervention program, First Steps, therapists from All About Kids offer therapeutic services for children in the family’s home or the AAK’s center located at 3101 Evans Ave. in Valparaiso.

Elizabeth Rieth, Director of Youth Services for OE is a licensed physical therapist, and has been a director for OE’s All About Kids since August 2014. She has been in the field of working with children with disabilities for more than 30 years. Currently, Rieth oversees a department of ten therapists, including OTs and COTAs.

“All About Kids is expanding and growing. Our services impact families, children, and young adults in our community. I am so honored to work among passionate and dedicated therapists. We are seeking occupational therapists to join our team and help change lives. Come in for a tour and see if OE is the right place for you,” said Rieth.
