A Community Conversation Over Coffee: Homelessness in Valparaiso

CCT-6-12-14You’re invited to be a part of a community conversation with the first-ever “Community Coffee Talk” on Thursday, June 12th at 9am at Blackbird Cafe.

This unique event will be held with the goal of understanding the realities homelessness in our community. The group at hand will also work to find what resources and organizations are available and that are currently working to assist. The conversation will also include a discussion for ideas for programs or initiatives that could be created to lessen the impact of homelessness in Valparaiso.

The format for the discussion will be an informal roundtable conversation, open to any community member who wants a say. Attendees include Mary Koselke of Blackbird Cafe, Ben Polhemus and Kevin Cram of Liberty Bible Church, Kathy Dewitt and Aly Kasper of Dayspring Women’s Center, Caren Furdeck of Housing Opportunities and Gregg Kovach of WVLP.
