James K Barath and Kathy Sipple created NWI reconnect and a regular twitter Meetup for anyone in the community!
The 'tweetup' generally meets at a local establishment to encourage new business to community members. The group also chooses a local non profit to benefit from the event. For the month of November the benefactors are Pesto’s on Calumet and The United Way of Porter County. Come meet, converse and this time Pesto’s is offering free appetizers, and 20% of all our orders that night will be donated to the United Way of Porter County.
Join in the fun at November's Tweetup, scheduled for November 17th from 7pm - close. There will also be an auction to generate more funds for the charity. Featured auction items include:
- Cardinal Gym memberships,
- Sign language classes,
- Salon ceritifcates and,
- A great lakes granite certificate for a custom made vanity.
