We've shared the vision; now everyone is invited to help us make room for Even More! We are outgrowing our space, and it's time to expand so we can welcome even more people who are being changed by the gospel. I have to say that I am already amazed by the generosity of our church. And I'm confident that we will all be in awe of what God does through us in the month of May (and for years to come)! Your encouraging comments and enthusiastic responses to the vision our leaders have shared have been a blessing to me. Thank you! Now as we enter the generosity initiative phase of our plan, this is the time to give to something really, really big. And everyone is invited to join in.
And EVERYONE is invited this Sunday. Yes, it is Mother's Day, but it's not just about moms. We will be praying over dozens of children during the child dedication ceremony in each of our 3 services. As I have often said, these little ones are not just the future of our church; they are part of our church right now.
Accept the invitation to be in worship this week and join us in celebrating the gospel for all people. I'll be opening the Word to bring a message relevant to EVERY ONE, no matter who you are or what your life situation. As always, I'm all in for your joy.

What's New at Calvary...
Coffee With the Pastors
Visitors to Calvary are invited to meet our pastors and ministry leaders on Sunday 5.15. This is a casual, relaxed evening where we invite you to ask questions and get to know the church staff. Join us at Calvary (NEW location!) from 6:30-8p for a cup of coffee, tasty desserts, and a chance to meet others who are new to Calvary.
Starting Point Membership Class
Starting Point provides important information for those considering making Calvary their home church. Plus you'll have a chance to connect with others in this highly interactive class. Starting Point meets three consecutive Wednesdays beginning 5.18 from 6:30-8p in room 403.
Even More Generosity Initiative
When we get excited about God giving good things to us, we want to help other people get those good things too. That's the whole point of Even More. We're making room for more people to discover how good and generous God is! Join us as we pray this week that God will provide through our generosity!
Visit the Even More webpage for a look at our Even More booklet and an FAQ. Once your family has talked and decided what to commit to the project, drop a commitment card in the mail or in the offering plate on Sunday. (Remember to write Even More or Building Fund on checks.) Cards are available at Guest Services or in the EM booklets.
Calvary Serves
Calvary Serves is early this year, and sign-ups are happening now! We're spreading across the city to serve organizations and individuals on Saturday 5.21. Meet in the Well at Calvary at 8a.
Know someone who could use help with basic home repairs or outdoor clean-up? Submit the project and we'll send out as many teams as we can to meet these community needs!
Calvary Students: The Plunge (formerly Senior Night)
Coming up Sunday 5.22 Calvary Students are celebrating taking the plunge from 5:30-8:30p at Pastor Mark Lackey's house (103-2 S 200 W Valparaiso, IN 46385). We'll be welcoming students immersing themselves in Calvary Students for the first time--5th graders heading into 6th grade--and celebrating our seniors, who are preparing to say bon voyage and dive into new life experiences.
Calvary Men First Thursday
First Thursday is this week and that means the guys are getting together! Catch up with some other Calvary men at Wings Etc. in Valpo tomorrow 5.5 at 7p. No RSVP needed. Just show up for some food, drink, and time to enjoy life together.
Kids Summer Camp
Calvary Kids entering 3rd-6th grade can register for Miracle Camp this summer at www.miraclecamp.com. For more information, pick up a Calvary Summer Camp 2016 brochure at Guest Services or visit our summer camp info page.
Calvary will provide transportation for the following camp weeks: June 19-25 (5th-6th graders) and July 6-9 (3rd-4th graders). RSVP is required for transportation. Drop a line to Jen Martakis (jen@calvaryweb.net) to secure your child's spot.
