Come Spend Time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament!

St-Paul-Parish-VocationNational Vocation Awareness Week will start on Jan. 9, at 7 pm, at the St. Paul Parish, the Feast of the Baptism of our Lord, which marks the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry. It is our responsibility to encourage young people to be generous as they discern the possibility of a call to service in the Church. Just as Jesus heard the voice of the Father with his human ears, our young people need to hear words of encouragement from parents, family, friends and the parish. God’s call comes through the Church in this way.

The vision of the parish vocation ministry is to create a culture of vocations in the parish community that invites men and women of every age to discern priestly and religious vocations with intentionality and intensity.

The mission of the parish vocation ministry is to empower men and women to discern God’s call to ordained ministry and consecrated life through activities that raise awareness of Church vocations and relationships that offer support in discernment. This mission is born from our participation in the life of Christ, which we receive through our baptism.
