The Parks Foundation invites you to be part of an outdoor one-of-a-kind event : Party in the Park on Saturday, July 21 from 7 to 11 PM! This new summer social event is sure to be a good time for all who attend, and it’s for a good cause.
Party in the Park features "The Under Cover Band" from Chicago, hors d'oeuvres, beverages and friends; all under the stars at Butterfly Meadow Park this Saturday, July 21, 2012, join us from 7:00 to 11:00 PM. Proceeds raised will go toward building two shelters at Butterfly Meadow, one of Valpo’s most popular spots for tots and families. Party in the Park also features a Valpo Voice Sing-Off competition with volunteer performers to entertain us...along with local "celebrities" such as Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green to judge the Voices! Tickets are $75 each, 5 for $350, or 10 for $700. The most exciting and freshest part of the Party will be the Foundation’s own “Valpo Voice” sing-off contest. Several members of the community will sing their hearts out for the Parks, to become “Valpo’s Voice.”
